Struck By Lightning

The only part of the weekend I did not spend sleeping was at the Museum of Science with Jeremy and John. Jeremy and I are pictured in front of the Van de Graaf generator after we experienced a private show after hours in the weather exhibit from within the lightning cage - (You know you’re jealous!). John showed us the behind the scenes physics and mechanics of this electrical phenomenon. Additionally, we got to make Jeremy’s hair stand on end with an electrical current, so that was pretty sweet too! We finished up the evening with dins at the Cheesecake Factory and an IMAX production of Alaska at the Omni Theater. Exiting the show, I amused myself by jaunting down the musical staircase to create my own rythm (much like times from years ago). Upon reflection, I considered that the obligatory annual school field trips to the Museum of Science were indeed stimulating experiences that have left me with fond memories and the desire to return to the Museum in the very near future.
