I Thought I Knew What I Was Good At…

Funny story. So funny I almost peed my pants. Walking out of my statistics class tonight, a PhD classmate of mine made the comment, “You must be really good at math.” I am not sure where he got his information, but I hope he is right and that things have changed for the better since college. Let’s review: Statistics in college was the only class in my life that I have ever honestly gotten a D in. I really tried too! I took calculus, but I have no idea what a derivative is.

Said classmate must have picked up on what my professor called a “really good observation” I made about sorting data in SPSS. (My classmates must not know that intuitive observations about using statistical software has a non-existent correlation with mathematical ability.) The next thing you know, I will receive the Model Driver Award!
